When you contact us or request a quotation, we may collect your name, email address, UK telephone number, postcode, address and the information you include in your message. If you become a customer, we may also keep service, appointment, payment and invoice records.

Our website may also process limited technical information needed for security, spam prevention and reliable operation. If you accept optional advertising measurement, this may include page activity, browser and device information, IP address, time of the event, advertising or cookie identifiers and the page from which the event was sent.

Our lawful bases

Who we share information with

We may share information only where necessary with our website and email hosting providers, WordPress, essential service providers, professional advisers, public authorities where required by law, and Google or Meta Platforms for advertising measurement where you have consented. We do not sell your personal information.

How long we keep information

Enquiries that do not become customer bookings may be kept for up to 24 months. Customer, payment and invoice records may be kept for up to 6 years after the end of the relevant financial year where required for tax, accounting or legal purposes. Security and spam-prevention records are retained only for as long as reasonably necessary. Advertising platforms apply their own retention periods to measurement data.

Marketing

We will not send you electronic marketing unless we have a lawful basis to do so. You can ask us to stop marketing communications at any time.

Cookies and advertising measurement

We use Google Ads conversion measurement and Meta advertising measurement to understand when an advert leads to a genuine website enquiry.

The Meta Pixel operates in the visitor’s browser. It is not loaded unless you select Accept in the cookie banner. If you submit a successful enquiry after accepting, our server may also send a corresponding Lead event through Meta’s Conversions API. Browser and server events use the same event identifier so Meta can merge them and avoid counting the same enquiry twice.

A consented Meta Lead event may include the event name, event identifier, date and time, page address, browser information, IP address, Meta cookie identifiers where available, and securely hashed versions of the email address or telephone number supplied with the enquiry. Hashing helps protect the original details during transfer, but the information is still treated as personal data.

Optional advertising and analytics storage is denied by default and is enabled only if you select Accept. If you select Reject, optional Google and Meta advertising measurement remains disabled. You can withdraw or change your choice by clearing this site’s saved data in your browser and revisiting the site.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to access, correct or erase your personal information, restrict or object to its use, and receive a copy in a portable format.
